My husband and I hired Karen for our destination wedding in Mexico before we had a venue, resort, or even specific city selected. She was the first and best decision we made! She has truly been with us from the START & I cannot recommend her highly enough. At our initial consultation, she took the time to understand our preferences and get to know us as a couple- which really made the planning process enjoyable. I was sad to tell her goodbye after it was over, she made such a positive impact on our wedding and the overall planning experience. We ended up selecting a venue completely separate from the resort we stayed at and it did not have “wedding packages”…. Meaning we had to make a LOT of decisions for every wedding detail & each vendor. I was definitely overwhelmed but Karen always put my mind at ease. She made spreadsheets, provided prompt recommendations, and impeccable communication. As a couple from Texas (USA) it was important for us to have a Spanish & English speaking planner to help coordinate vendors. Karen being local to the Riviera Maya area and fluent in both languages was amazing- we couldn’t have done it without her. She really went above & beyond to ensure every aspect of our wedding was perfect. I could go on for days about my admiration for her! Karen was amazing for our wedding! My husband and I have very difficult schedules to work with and with both of us out of the country we were worried about being able to put everything together. Karen happily helped us with every step. She was very patient with difficulties that came up and adapted quickly to last minute changes. She was ready with resources for everything we needed and found us the most beautiful locations and options in our budget. She even traveled to see the location in person when we were not able to go. My husband is Mexican and I am American so it helped us a lot to be able to communicate in both English and Spanish while planning. The day of the wedding everything was beautiful, detailed, and ran smoothly! I was able to enjoy the time with my husband and our family and friends without worrying because Karen had it all covered and was there in person making sure everything was in order. I highly highly recommend her as your wedding planner; she is an amazing, hard working, and kind person and I am so grateful for everything she did to make our day magic!
